Technology Used

We used many aspects of technology to create our music video. Firstly there was the Video camera, which was essentially needed to create our video. The camera had some great features such as SD memory card compatibility, which made it easier to upload our footage to the computers. However, it was frustrating at times, particularly the battery life, which ran out on more than one occasion, it ran out on the very last day of filming which left us without a camera. However, at that point we decided to use “Ather’s” mobile phone, which had an 8 Megapixel camera with a Full HD video camera, which was more than suitable. We also encountered other problems with the camera we were given; firstly we found the interface and the designated buttons a problem, as they were quite confusing. We also used a tripod during filming as handheld would have left the music video looking “shaky” and “unprofessional”. From this we knew we needed a stable and extendable tripod, which could capture footage from different angles whether high, or low.
